When to leave and when to book the ride back

Tell us what you are going to, when it starts and where you are leaving from. You get the pickup time for the way there and for the way back, with event-day traffic and the walk to the pickup zone. Those are the times you enter when you book.

Closest

Les Corts and the upper Diagonal

The hotels around the Diagonal between Maria Cristina and Zona Universitària, and in the Les Corts neighbourhood itself, let you walk to the stadium and back. It is a quieter, business area: fine for the match, less so if you want the old town at night. With luggage from the airport it is a short ride, about 13 km.

For trains

Sants

Around Sants station you are about 3 km from the stadium, with direct trains to the airport and high-speed trains to the rest of Spain and France. A good choice if you arrive or leave by train. See Sants to Camp Nou.

The classic choice

Eixample, the Gothic Quarter, El Born and Barceloneta

Most visitors stay in the centre and combine the match with the city. The stadium is 15-20 minutes away by car in normal traffic, more on match day, and the metro after the match is crowded. This is where a booked transfer there and back makes the most difference: see hotel to Camp Nou and getting back at night.

Near the airport or the port

Flying or sailing the next morning

If you fly or embark early the next day, a hotel near the Gran Via in L’Hospitalet or near the port shortens the morning. From the stadium we can take you straight to the airport or the cruise port.

Frequently asked questions

Which area is best for walking to Camp Nou?

Les Corts and the upper Diagonal, between Maria Cristina and Zona Universitària.

Is it worth staying in the centre for a match?

Yes, if you also want to see the city. Book the transfer there and back so the way home after the match is not a problem.

Do you pick up from any hotel?

Yes, any hotel in Barcelona and the surrounding area. Enter its address in the quote tool and you see the fixed price.

Do you recommend specific hotels?

No. We do not recommend individual hotels; this guide only describes the areas and how long the trip to the stadium takes from each one.

Access, road closures and calendar reviewed on 27 October 2026. The stadium is still under works and the logistics may change during the season.
